To reduce the proportional mass of unsprung portions in powered wheel sets, parts of the drive in rail vehicles are mounted to the bogie. Compensating the spring movement of the bogie requires bending elastic couplings which are installed in pairs and permit a double cardan displacement with low reset force. In partially suspended systems, these couplings are located between the motor and the gearbox, while in fully suspended systems they are between the gearbox and the wheelset. SGF provides the respectively appropriate coupling for both installation situations.

In addition to the drive-couplings we also offer anti-squek elastomer parts for tram wheels.
